Schedule

 

Monthly: Use Calendar on Home Page

Daily:

The daily schedule is as follows, Sunday to Thursday inclusive. Each marathon is completely self contained with no gel wrappers, water cups, banana skins or any other litter left along the route.

6.00am Wake up
6.30am Breakfast: cereal, fruit, milk, yogurt, chia seed and coffee
7.00am Assess day's requirements: temperature, clothing, foot wear etc.
7.15am Mix nutrition and prep Camelbak
7.30am

Cup of coffee

7.45am Final preparation
8.00am Start the day's marathon

1.30pm
to 2.30pm

Finish marathon dependant on weather, injury, sickness etc.
2.30pm Recovery: chocolate milk, ice bath (or river!), hot tub, shower
3.00pm Lunch
3.30pm Update Blog on Marathon Quest 250 webpage
4.00pm Nap
4.30pm Check equipment
6.00pm Supper
7.30pm Play Scrabble
9.00pm Bed

 

Repeat 250 times!

The marathons will take between 5 and 6 hours weather, injury, sickness dependant.
