This morning, when I looked out my bedroom window, it was a real pea-souper. All I could see was the faint orange hue from the street lights. Today, I was heading into Calgary to meet CBC Reporter Mary Catherine. We had arranged to have coffee at the Good Earth cafe at 9.00am, but first I had to handle the drive in. I managed to get into a convoy of five cars and we slowly trundled our way out of Cochane and down the 1A to Calgary.
I arrived at Eau Claire Market at 8.00am and parked. I don't mind parking down town on the weekend because it's only $2. It's during the week, that bugs me, when you have to sell your first born to pay for a spot. After a warm up 5km, I had a breakfast panini and Mary Catherine arrived. She recorded me running, breathing and speaking. Then it was off for another marathon.
Big day tomorrow. #200. I'm off to the CBC Morning Show at 7.40am then back over to Eau Cliaire Market. I'll be doing 10km loop from the Good Earth cafe, starting at 9.00am. The following loops will start at 10.30am and 12 noon. If you've got a spare 1 1/2hr then come on out, it would be great to see you.
