Below are the Latest Marathon stats:
There are several things I forgot to mention about yesterday's visit to Sunalta school.
Today's marathon was in Cochrane and I decided it was time to run some trails. I spent the day winding my way around creeks and wooded areas, along rivers and over hills. Of course I had to end the run with a visit to Mackays. Today's flavour, bubble gum.
Avatar Marathon Martin spent a very enjoyable day in New York, on his virtual route across North America. The number one attraction for him was the Statue of Liberty. He took a boat over to Liberty Island and next to a hot dog stand was a plaque. It stated that "The Statue of Liberty (Statue de la Liberté), officially entitled "Liberty Enlightning the World (la Liberté éclairant le monde)", dedicated on October 28, 1886, is a monument commemorating the centennial of the signing of the United States Declaration of Independance. It was given to the United States by the people of France to represent the friendship between the two countries established during the American Revolution." The next day he was on the road again, heading west towards Scranton, the home of one of his heroes, Michael Scott.
